Dr Len Hamey
Managing Director and Senior Machine Vision Consultant
Len is the founder and
managing director of Hamey Vision Systems. He has been a leader in research and
development of machine vision systems since 1989, developing innovative
inspection technologies for industries including food, timber,
recycling and rail transport. Len has authored many publications and is an
inventor on 2 patents.
Len received a PhD in Computer Science from Carnegie-Mellon University, for research in computer vision. He also holds the degree of Bachelor of Science (honours) from Macquarie University, majoring in statistics.

Simon Wong
Machine Vision Developer
Simon is an experienced
developer of machine vision systems. He has particular skills in software
development using the industrial machine vision software package Halcon. He is
also experienced in implementation of user interfaces, database and custom
image analysis algorithms.
Simon has a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Computing from Macquarie University.
